One of our absolute favorite vacations is on the Disney Cruise Line.  I was late to the game in discovering the wonder that is cruising, but thanks to my wife, I have found the light.  We first started cruising as a family in 2009 when Hunter was two years old.  We have only been on the Disney ships because of their amazing service, food and destinations.

Of the four Disney Cruise ships (as of 2018) we have only been on three of the four as a family (Sawyer has only been on two of them).  While we enjoy the Disney Dream and Fantasy because the their size and offerings, we also the Wonder because it feels a bit more quaint (even though it is pretty massive as well).  On recent cruises we have captured on fun in video.  Check out some of our most popular Disney Cruise videos below:

Our favorite Disney Cruise vacation of all of them so far has been the ten night Caribbean cruise that we took in the summer of 2017.  The itinerary was amazing in that it included five island stops at Aruba, Curacao, St. Kitts, Tortola and Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay.  Mixed in between these one of a kind island stops were relaxing days at sea to regroup for the adventures ahead.  Definitely a once in a lifetime vacation but one that we will never forget.

Below is a list of the dates and itineraries that we have been on to date.  Those that have hyperlinks have additional blog posts and photos of our travel adventures.

There are so many activities and places to see on the cruise that it is difficult to make the nights late and the mornings early.  This was an example of one of those transitions, as we were just coming off  of our day at sea which included a late dinner followed by Oceaneers Club and a late night drink, followed… Read more »

Another beautiful and calm morning on the Disney Fantasy.  Having just enjoyed two awesome island days at Aruba and Curacao, we were happy to have a relaxing day to enjoy the ship.  I woke up at my normal vacation time of 6:30, made my way up to deck 11 to get my Diet Coke, and wrote my Hayesvision.com blog posts… Read more »

It would be hard to top day four in Aruba but we were willing to give it a try at the island of Curaçao.  One of my favorite Disney Cruise morning activities on days in port is to wake up early and head up to deck 12 to take a timelapse video of he ship coming into port.  Unfortunately, today… Read more »

After a turbulent day on the ocean during our second Disney Fantasy sea day, we were excited to be approaching our first island stop of our cruise.  We awoke around 8 am, as the ship was still making its way to Aruba.  This gave me time to get the GoPro set up on the veranda and take an approaching timelapse… Read more »

Disney Fantasy 10 Night Caribbean Cruise – Day 1, Embarkation

Needless to say the entire Hayes household arose early with excitement as our Disney Fantasy Cruise embarkation day had arrived.
