When we talk about our favorite family vacations, we always agree that they are Disney Cruise Adventures! Being on a cruise, especially a Disney Cruise, allows you to have fun family time, delicious meals, amazing entertainment, and visit unique destinations. We first started cruising as a family in 2009 and we have been hooked ever since. Five Night Disney Marvel Cruise (Disney Magic)
January – 2019
The boys were super excited when we surprised them with with the Disney Marvel Cruise. Not only did we get to spend five days on the Disney Magic, they also got to miss a little school. The Marvel cruise was our first cruise departure from the Port of Miami, which required a bit of travel from Orlando.
Embarkation day was beautiful as we enjoyed lunch overlooking the Miami skyline. Our first port of call was Key West, FL where we enjoyed a quaint breakfast and a walking tour of most of Key West. Nassau, Bahamas was our second stop where we opted to stay on the ship and explore the Disney Magic. Castaway Cay was a memorable stop as we got to enjoy a private beach cabana for the first time ever… amazing! On the last was also one of our favorites, Marvel Day at Sea. The boys had a blast meeting their favorite characters and seeing the deck show at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend this cruise if you are a fan of the Marvel franchise.
Three Night Disney Bahamas Cruise (Disney Fantasy)
May – 2018
Although this was one of our shorter cruise adventures, it was quite memorable for it was the first time Emily’s parents joined us at sea! We again surprised the boys with the cruise as well as their grandparents attendance. We embarked on the three night Bahamas cruise from Port Canaveral and enjoyed smooth seas. Our first port of call was Nassau, Bahamas where we stayed on the Disney Fantasy. We had fun showing Emily’s parents around all of our favorite spots. The second, and final day of the cruise was Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay. It was a perfect weather day as we enjoyed the beach, snorkeling, biking and lunch at Cookies Too. Kee and Colonel fell in love with the ship and even mentioned going again sometime.
