Explore Mendocino, Dinner at Albion River Inn at Sunset
Being that this was our last day in Mendocino we decided to just relax and do some shopping in the downtown area to wrap up our stay. By noon we had visited just about every shop Mendocino had to offer so we went to the Mendocino Hotel for lunch. The food was delicious!
We continued on to visit a local wine shop where we met Dan, who was very helpful in teaching us about different wines. After purchasing a few bottles we decided to continue on. Dan, noting that it was our honeymoon, said that he had a present for us and gave us a wine map of California. At this point we decided to go to the bookstore and purchase Wine for Dummies as was advised by our new friend Dan. We then visited the Fetzer wine tasting store where we learned a little more about this confusing subject. After purchasing a few more bottles we continued on.
We returned to the room for a little afternoon relaxation and preparation for dinner. Dinner was at the beautiful Albion River Inn. We got a little lost going there because we didn’t bother looking up where it was located. The view at dinner was breathtaking of the ocean and the sunset. There was couple there from east of the bay area. We went outside and took a ton of pictures of the sunset and Linda and Eric took a picture of us in front of the sunset. We took a picture of them as well. We visited for awhile and told them we were on our honeymoon. When dessert arrived it was accompanied by two sparkling glasses of champagne compliments of Linda and Eric. That made our night! We returned to our room for final night of 10+ hour sleep.
