So we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather on Saturday and go to the Polynesian Resort to enjoy Emily’s favorite BBQ pork sandwich from the quick service restaurant there. The day was perfect, and Hunter was in a very funny mood. The quote of the day, however, was when Hunter turned around to the family sitting behind us and said emphatically and enthusiastically,… Read more »
Today Hunter and I were invited by my mom (Grandma Kee) and dad (PopPop Colonel) to the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. We headed there early to “beat the crowds.” Yeah, us and about 50,000 of our closest friends! We knew it was a bad sign when the lines to get in were snaking through the ticket booths and… Read more »
Watching GMA Weekend on Saturday morning, Patrick and I both had an “A-ha Moment” during the “My Week in Three Words” segment. We thought it would be fun to capture Hunter’s week in three words each week until he is three (or maybe longer!) and post them on here. If you are not familiar with the idea behind the segment,… Read more »
Today we were ready for adventure but looking for something a little more low key than a theme park. It was a beautiful day out – sunny, a tad breezy, with the temp hovering somewhere in the 70s. Who could say no to an adventure on a day like this? Our plan unfolded and we decided to ask Jen, Danny,… Read more »

We enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal that Emily… Read more »
After a delicious Sonny’s BBQ dinner sponsored by Vern Shukoski, I bid adieu to the Harvest boys and headed back to Orlando. Sara and Zach arrived in Orlando at 1:00 o’clock that afternoon and Emily picked them up at the airport and entertained them the entire day. I arrived home from the Harvest at 11:30 p.m. and the house was… Read more »
Another 5:45 wake up call for a 6:30 departure has become commonplace for Fridays and Saturdays at the Harvest Classic. The groups were all well rested and ready to attack the South course which was the site of round one. The competition was fierce but mostly amongst the leaders in the final group. Jim Hayes shot a 75 scoring 7… Read more »
Day two of the Harvest Classic was a roller coaster ride of golf. The first 18 holes were played on the Copperhead course and it was in tip top shape with a week to go until the Transitions Championship. We arrived at the course for breakfast at 6:30 and waited for the sunrise which occurred at around 7:28 just prior… Read more »
Round one of the ’09 Harvest Classic is in the books and like previous years the leaderboard is tight. As the Vegas odds predicted Tom Hayes owns a share of first place next to brother Bob Hayes. Tom shot a one under par with two birdies and one bogey to score 5 points. Bob having only played a half dozen… Read more »
