1/06 – The mental preparation has begun for the 2006 Harvest Classic. This years Classic will again return to Saddlebrook Golf Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Will there be a repeat this year for one Kent Dickson, or will the champion hail from the frozen tundra? It is anyone’s guess but one thing that is for certain, they will all be chasing the coveted Harvest Classic Trophy.
Many of the participants over the years have been in it for the money, some for the fame, but all have wanted their names engraved for all eternity with some of the greats like; Jim Hayes, Jeff Riester, Mike Ganther just to name a few. It all comes down to who can put together three solid rounds of golf, many unfortunately, just can’t hang.
This years Harvest Classic will be held March 2-5, 2006. The Vegas odds are still undecided, but there is talk of big money on Vern Shukoski to run away with the title this year. Vern has been seen chipping garbage cans full of balls before the sun comes up. Time of course will tell, but it is hard to argue with Vegas.
