This week it felt like Hunter had more time outs (times out?) than the NBA finals. Emily thought, “Why not capture it in a Three Words?”
Off our fun trip to Wisconsin, Hunter caught a bug and spent the majority of the week resting. We emptied a number of boxes of Kleenex!
We decided to take a trip to see Grandma Jean, Papa Don and the Toney family in sunny Wisconsin. This was Hunter’s first time seeing snow and he absolutely loved it. We built our first snowman and went sledding a couple times as well. I don’t think this will be our last trip to see the snow!
Those of you who were following along with the drama from Hunter’s broken arm were probably awaiting this next post. We decided one crib accident was plenty for us and converted Hunter’s crib into his big boy bed as soon as his cast came off. So far, he has made an easy transition.
One of the benefits of living in Florida is the beautiful winter months that help us get through the hot summer. This year has been unusually cold here in the Sunshine State. Every year we try and take a few days around the holdiays to stay at Disney and take in the decorations and festivities. It also gives Emily a much deserved break from gift buying, wrapping and general holiday preparation. We decided to stay at DAK Lodge this week and we had a great time. For those of you following along it has been two weeks since our little buddy had his surgery. We went back to the doctor last week and the removed his splint, took some x rays and got him a cool green Christmas cast. Amazing how they adjust to having a huge cast on their arm so quickly.
