\"5.23.09-04.jpg\"Along with our fun train ride<\/a>,\u00a0 we also got to get out and explore the Disney resorts as well as the Magic Kingdom.\u00a0\u00a0 We started the day at the Polynesian where we strolled around the grounds and captured some fun images (see below).\u00a0 After Hunter held out about as long as he could (3 minutes) we headed toward the main building to catch the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom (pretty sure Hunter is ready to check out on his monorail conductor training!).\u00a0 We got off the monorail and headed straight for the train (see details and video in the All Aboard!<\/a>\u00a0post).\u00a0 The train took us as far as Toontown where we captured a photo with Conductor Ronald and headed to the Barnstormer to attempt Hunter’s first Goofy flight.\u00a0 When we arrived the wait appeared to be about 40 minutes which was just a bit too long for our liking.\u00a0 We decided to head over to the Buzz ride and try our luck there.\u00a0 We happened upon fast passes that were for 30 minutes from the current time so we killed some time at the Carousel of Progress (interesting how the last scene has technology from the future but clothing from the late 80’s)\u00a0.<\/p>\n

When we finally finished the twentieth round of “Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” we were on our way to the Space Ranger Spin (Hunter’s favorite).\u00a0 We had a blast as always and Hunter and I achieved our highest score ever (We only beat Mom by about 970,000 points… really).\u00a0 After the Buzz ride ,we\u00a0were hungry so we headed\u00a0to Pinocchio’s Village Haus to get some pizza.\u00a0 We devoured our meal and headed to Toontown to give the Barnstormer one\u00a0more shot ,because Hunter was ready to go.\u00a0 The clouds were coming in but we thought we could make it in time (remind me how\u00a0bad of a decision this was!).\u00a0 Everything was going well when we got there.\u00a0 There was about a twenty minute wait so Mommy and Hunter\u00a0got in\u00a0line and I got a perfect spot for filming.\u00a0 Ten minutes later the weather drew near and they decided to shut down the ride before Emily and Hunter\u00a0made it to the front.\u00a0 To say this upset Hunter would be a gross understatement.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He had one of his bigger meltdowns as he sobbed all the way to the front of the park.\u00a0 Poor kid.<\/p>\n

We then decided to take the monorail over to the Contemporary (a word that Hunter has mastered in his vocabulary) and get some dessert and watch the monorails go by.\u00a0 This we did and enjoyed both the food and scenery very much.\u00a0 After our stomachs were full we took one last monorail ride back to the Polynesian and got in the car and headed home.\u00a0 It was a very enjoyable day.<\/p>\n
