After two weeks on the road, we were happy to return home to sleep in our own beds and play with our toys (Hunter AND Patrick). We saw many spectacular and interesting things along the way and were sometimes surprised by where the journey led us. Through the eyes of a toddler, some familiar favorites faded away and new traditions emerged. One of my favorite parts of the trip was the discovery of some incredible baked goods along the way! I also loved sharing the trip with my two favorite guys and experiencing everything new again through Hunter.<\/p>\n

While many told us we were crazy for taking a two week road trip with a one year old, I wouldn’t have done it any differently. It was great to see the east coast of this great country and all of the history along the way. We saw many great things, ate some amazing food and created many lasting memories. I look forward to taking this trip again when Hunter is older (and maybe has a brother or sister to share it with) and relive some of the great times we had. For now I am happy to be back in my own bed and at my own home with my amazing family.<\/p>\n
