{"id":1083,"date":"2009-06-07T16:07:38","date_gmt":"2009-06-07T21:07:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hayesvision.com\/home\/?p=1083"},"modified":"2009-06-07T16:07:38","modified_gmt":"2009-06-07T21:07:38","slug":"sunday-at-the-magic-kingdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.hayesvision.com\/home\/sunday-at-the-magic-kingdom\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday at the Magic Kingdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hayesvision.com\/home\/wp-content\/gallery\/sunday-at-mk\/06.07.09-12.jpg?resize=184%2C236\" alt=\"06.07.09-12.jpg\" width=\"184\" height=\"236\" \/>Those of you who read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hayesvision.com\/home\/?p=1058\" target=\"_blank\">A cloudy, fun Saturday<\/a>\u00a0 remember that we attempted to embark on Hunter&#8217;s first roller coaster ride, only to end the event in tears as the ride was closed due to inclement weather.\u00a0 We decided after a couple weekends of sitting around the house due to illness, we would venture out to the Magic Kingdom in hopes that round two would be a winner.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We set out as we always do and grabbed a bite to eat at the Polynesian Resort , followed by\u00a0the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 The only thing different about today was that Emily got<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-right alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hayesvision.com\/home\/wp-content\/gallery\/sunday-at-mk\/06.07.09-22.jpg?resize=280%2C185\" alt=\"06.07.09-22.jpg\" width=\"280\" height=\"185\" \/> up at 7:30 (mornings are like\u00a0the dentist to Emily &#8212; avoid\u00a0at all costs &#8212; no offense Dr. Z).\u00a0\u00a0The great thing was that we arrived at the Magic Kingdom around 10:00, and the crowds had not yet developed.\u00a0\u00a0After we checked out a Disney stroller (great call Em), Emily and Hunter spotted the horse trolley that\u00a0Hunter was fired up to ride on.\u00a0 This they did while a barbershop quartet sang\u00a0from the back row.\u00a0 I followed alongside with the empty stroller, ready for the photo ops.\u00a0 After the trolley tour and\u00a0some fun castle photos (we were literally the only tourists in front of the castle &#8211; score!), we grabbed\u00a0our fast passes for the\u00a0&#8220;Buzz&#8221; ride and headed back to Toontown\u00a0to beat the\u00a0rush.\u00a0 It was perfect as there was no wait ,so we snapped a few pictures for Hunter&#8217;s Week in Three Words, and Emily and Hunter made their way to the launch pad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0After the lengthy 45 second flight on the Barnstormer, Hunter and Mommy deplaned with crooked smiles.\u00a0 When asked, Hunter said he liked it, but when asked if he <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hayesvision.com\/home\/wp-content\/gallery\/sunday-at-mk\/06.07.09-17.jpg?resize=206%2C285\" alt=\"06.07.09-17.jpg\" width=\"206\" height=\"285\" \/>would go again, he emphasized he would be happy to ride the &#8220;Buzz&#8221; ride.\u00a0 Lest we forget the train, though, we decided to take a grand circle tour from Toontown before it was time for our Buzz fastpasses.\u00a0 We took the train from Toontown to Frontierland and got off the train to explore.\u00a0 After pictures with Donald &#8220;Davy Crockett&#8221; Duck, we walked around and made our way back to Tomorrowland to ride the Space Ranger Spin.\u00a0 Daddy dominated again (as usual) scoring 999,999 points (it helped that\u00a0the the ride stalled three times).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After we completed our journey through the galaxy, Hunter was losing the battle with his eye lids, so we decided to head out.\u00a0 On the way out, Hunter saw the horsey carriage and said he wanted to ride that &#8220;ONE MORE TIME.&#8221;\u00a0 This time, I rode and Emily took the pictures.\u00a0 It was a fun experience we don&#8217;t get to do all the time.\u00a0 It was lunchtime when we left, so Emily and I were excited because we agreed that we would pick up Five Guys burgers on the way home.\u00a0 We\u00a0have been craving them for a couple months, and particularly since we watched the NBC special the other night where the President went there!\u00a0 If you have not had these burges, there is\u00a0no distance too great to\u00a0travel for\u00a0one, trust me.\u00a0\u00a0 Hunter woke up when he smelled the fries, so we hurried home and devoured our healthy lunches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was a pretty perfect day with the family and the camera.\u00a0 Enjoy the photos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Those of you who read A cloudy, fun Saturday\u00a0 remember that we attempted to embark on Hunter&#8217;s first roller coaster ride, only to end the event in tears as the ride was closed due to inclement weather.\u00a0 We decided after a couple weekends of sitting around the house due to illness, we would venture out to the Magic Kingdom in&#8230;
